Welcome to AssumeList! This guide will teach you the basics of how to use AssumeList to find your perfect home with an assumable mortgage. Let’s get started!

Searching for Assumable Homes

1. When you log in, you’ll be taken to your Dashboard. From the left tool bar, click on Property Search.
2. On the Property Search page, click on Assumable Search on the middle top bar.

The Property Search screen will default to the Assumable Search tab, however you can click on the Live MLS tab to see all active listings whether they contain an assumable loan or not. 

Here are tips on how to conduct an effective assumable property search.

Viewing Listings

When viewing a listing for an assumable loan, depending on the plan you subscribed to, the mortgage payment, interest rate, and loan balance all display on the top left.

You can also calculate the monthly payment if you were to obtain a new loan for the property – just scroll down and click on the Calculate button under View Mortgage Details for This Property.

Please note that all mortgage details are estimates and the exact figures will need to be confirmed with the listing agent or homeowner before making an offer on the property. 

If you don't already have an agent, AssumeList can assist in obtaining specific loan information for any property by submitting an inquiry using the Inquire More About This Property box:

Sharing and Saving Homes

If you have an agent and want to share the property listing with them, or with a friend or family member, click on the Share icon on the left side of the page. This will open a new window and you can click Create a Shared Link to generate a unique link that you can email or text to others.  

You can also save the property to be viewed later by hitting the Save icon. You can view this listing later by going to the My Saved page, and it will also be visible on your Dashboard under My Saved Properties.

As mentioned above, if you don’t yet have a real estate agent and have a question about a specific property, feel free to submit your question under Inquire More About This Property section and a member of our team will get back to you shortly.
